I think there is a lot lacking in terms of actually feeling/seeing the characters fall in love. But I think the character's emotions as far as getting married negate a lot of the whole, y'know, psychopath thing. SPOILER! Why is every relationship ending in marriage and/or kids? For one or two I think it makes sense, and I do understand that as slightly famous people they need to have weddings as a cover-up. However, I feel with how terrible Lunatic was, and how unpromising the first few chapters of Maniac are on Patreon, the series as a whole has become pretty compromised for me. Additionally, Headcase and Mad Man were fun to read, though not my favorites.
I loved Psycho and Moonstruck as well, Moonstruck being my absolute fav because I relate to Atticus so much as a socially awkward person.
The plot really intrigued me as well as the relationship dynamic between Adam & Noah as well as the Mulvaneys as a whole. Unhinged was one of the first mlm books I read, so it has a special place in my heart.
